The Chinese online retailer Temu has taken the German market by storm with low prices and sometimes bizarre products. Hundreds of thousands of packages arrive every day, most of which reach households uncontrolled.
Now retail experts and associations are sounding the alarm: cheap goods would not only endanger our economy, but would also be risky for consumers!

One in four Germans (26 percent) between the ages of 16 and 65 have shopped at Temu in the past six months, as a study by the market research company Appinio shows.
“We estimate that up to 200,000 packages are now delivered to Germany per day and there are already millions of users in Germany,” says e-commerce expert Alex Graf.

Nintendo Switch 2 Rumored to Feature Custom Nvidia Chip
A recent report suggests that the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 is set to launch later this year, boasting a specially crafted Nvidia chip.
As per a report by Reuters, Nvidia is establishing a new division dedicated to developing tailor-made chips for tech companies, with Nintendo being one of the beneficiaries receiving a unique chip design for their upcoming handheld console.

According to a source cited by Reuters, the current Nintendo Switch already incorporates Nvidia’s Tegra X1 chip, and the upcoming version is expected to feature a bespoke Nvidia design.
Furthermore, there have been speculations that Nvidia was also in talks with Microsoft for a potential collaboration on the next-generation Xbox console.
Despite these developments, Nintendo has chosen not to comment on the matter.

Court issued arrest warrant against four directors of Ratanpur Steel Re-Rolling Mills (RSRM) Limited for non-payment of Tk 188.26 lakh 53 thousand to Trust Bank. Judge Mujahidur Rahman of Chittagong Financial Debt Court gave this order after the hearing on Thursday (February 8). Peshkar of the court. Rezaul Karim confirmed this information.
RSRM is one of the top defaulters in the country, with defaulted loans amounting to around Tk 2.5 billion.
The four people under the arrest warrant are, Mizanur Rahman, Marzanur Rahman, Md. Alauddin and Maksudur Rahman.
According to court sources, the loan was taken from Trust Bank Chittagong CDA Avenue branch in the name of Modern Ste el Mills Limited, a subsidiary of Ratanpur Steel Re-Rolling Mills (RSRM) Limited. On April 11 last year, the first assistant vice president of that branch Shah Md. Zaheed Hossain filed the case as the plaintiff. In the case, till March 31, 2023, the company’s defaulted loan amount is Tk 188 crore 26 lakh 53 thousand 307.
According to court sources, no immovable property is liable to the bank as collateral against the loan. The loan was disbursed on trust receipts and personal guarantees. The loan amount is scheduled to be restructured in 2015 and restructured in 2019.
