Since the beginning of the current legislative session,the Spanish Congress has spent over 8.4 million euros on domestic travel for its deputies. This equates too an average of approximately 24,000 euros per parliamentarian.
According to data obtained by Europa Press, the total billing for national travel amounted to 8,405,950.27 euros as of July 1st. This figure does not include the costs associated with the two remarkable plenary sessions held in July.
