Concerts on Friday, August 29th, including Lina Maly

Lüneburg. A concert with Coco Aikura begins at 7 p.m. on the courtyard on the ponds. The musician combines electronic beats with acoustic sounds and sings in German, English and French. Donations are determined in favor of the Mosaique.

Lüneburg. Singer Mr. Könnig and pianist Mr. Moldenhauer play a program with nostalgia songs from the 1920s to 1940s at 7 p.m. in the courtyard of the Museum Café Bernstein.

Lüneburg. Her music is described as a mixture of pop, chanson, folk and singer-songwriter: at 7.30 p.m. the singer Lina Maly appears in the duo in Schröder’s garden. Maly’s songs often deal with feelings such as melancholy, loss, hope or new beginning.

Altenmedingen. Tom Kathmann will play works from various eras in the St. Mauritius Church as part of the organ summer. Vera Herrmann performs texts. Title of the evening: “Sing with us into the weekend”.

Amelinghausen. As part of the Friday night concerts, the North German Trio Continuum Modern Jazz arrangements of old music will play in the Hippolitkirche. Title: “Jazz’n’Spirit”.

Bispingen. As part of the summer music in Bispinger churches, the duo La Vigna will present a program with Celtic music and baroque sonatas at 7.30 p.m. under the title “Sweet Sounds”.

Recorder. The concert by Juanita Laló & Friends begins in the hall of the cultural association. The seven -member band mixes Latin American rhythms with jazz, funk and folk. The occasion is the release of her second album “El Segundo”.

Salzhausen. In the St. Johannis Church, Ulrich Billet designs the final concert of the Salzhäuser Organ summer with an epoch overarching program at 6.30 p.m. Works by Andreas Kneller and Johann Sebastian Bach represent the baroque music, Alexandre Guilmant stands for musical impressionism. Compositions by Rune Lindsten and Emma Lou Diemer represent modernity.

Schwindebeck. The band Macajun appears in the garden of Ms. Harms Kaffehaus at 7 p.m. The group was founded in the Heide in 1995 and presents traditional cajun music from Louisiana. When the weather is very bad, the event will have to be canceled.

Concerts on Saturday, August 30th, including Creedence Clearwater Revived

Lüneburg. At 6 p.m., Krzysztof Urbaniak designs the last concert of the Lüneburg organ summer in the St. Johannis Church. The program includes works by Bach, Buxtehude and riser. It is also the last big concert before the start of the organ restoration that will take two and a half years.

Dömitz. A concert by the Creedence Clearwater Revived Feat group starts at 8.30 p.m. Johnnie Guitar Williamson as part of her “Woodstock and Beyond Tour”.

Garlstorf. The band performs three meters of dirt road at the Bleckwiesen Festival. The concert began at 4 p.m. with Hey Nille, other bands include Montreal, Nikra, 100 kilos of heart and Alex Mofa Gang. The festival is already sold out.

Lemgrabe. The band Tanquoray plays radio, soul and country with gospel influences in the goat stable from 7.30 p.m.

Pattensen. An Irish evening with MacPiet begins at 6 p.m. behind the village room. The musician plays folk, oldies and own songs on the guitar and bagpipes.

Winsen (Luhe). In the St. Marien Church, a concert with the duo Sing Your Soul begins at 5 p.m., which interprets folk music from all over the world under the motto “Highlands & Islands”.

Concerts on Sunday, August 31, including Femmes Vocales

Lüneburg. The second final concert of the International Masterclass Conducting with the Lüneburg symphonists takes place in the Kulturforum at 11 a.m.

Lüneburg. In the museum, the Femmes Vocales women’s choir, under the direction of Imke McMurtrie, gives two change concerts at 5 and 6.30 p.m. as part of the exhibition “1000 cranes for peace”. The choir is accompanied by Danuta Busse and Kirsten Dietrich.

Lüneburg. In the Christuskirche, a concert by the Folk duo Song Butler’s folk duo with Sigrun Bankwitz (vocals, guitar) and Meik Nickel (clarinet, flutes, didgeridoo, piano) begins at 5 p.m.

Reinstorf. The Open Stage starts at 5 p.m. in one World at 5 p.m. with the duo Kyra & Matthias. Own songs as well as rock and pop classics are played.

Klein Sommerbeck. The Bigband Subdivision plays in the roof brewery at 4 p.m. The formation interprets jazz, radio and Latin sounds.

Lüneburg. The Trio Sole Azul will present a mixture of tango and jazz on Tuesday, September 2, at 7 p.m. in the Lüneburg music school. The Finnish musicians Harri Kuusijärvi (accordion), Pauli Lyytinen (saxophone) and Eero Tikkanen (bass) interpret classics and own pieces.

Lüneburg. In the cultural forum, singer Miss Allie will give an exclusive pre-show for the “Paradiesbird Tour 2025/26” on Wednesday, September 3, at 8 p.m. The former Lüneburg woman connects songs with humor and social criticism. The concert is already sold out.
