Cerri, first goal with Bari and a dream: all the declarations of the Juve striker on loan
A goal to unlock, a dream to cultivate. Leonardo Cerristriker of Juventus Next Gen on loan to Bari, spoke to the microphones of Radio bar after scoring his first, very heavy goal with the red and white shirt. The young striker, born in 2003, recounted his emotions, spoke about his idol Luca Toni and his great goal: to return to Juve of the protagonist.
PAROLE – «The goal against Padova was very important on an emotional level. I hope I can do even half of what Luca Toni has done in his career. I am very close to coach Allegri because he gave me my debut and he has an impressive management of the group. My goal is to do the best I can and help the team. Juventus? I think that every player has his own maturation and I don’t preclude the fact that perhaps once my maturation is complete I can play my cards to be there.”
The goal scored against Padova, which earned three golden points, was a liberation. “It was very important on an emotional level,” confessed Cerri. Asked about the comparison with Luca Tonito whom he resembles in physical characteristics, showed great humility: “I hope I can do even half of what he has done in his career”.
A special thought was then reserved for Massimiliano Allegri, the coach who made him debut in Serie A with the Milan shirt. “I am very close to the coach, he has an impressive management of the group”he declared, praising his former coach.

Cerri and the Juve dream: “With maturation complete…”
But the final objective, the great dream, remains only one: to return to Juventus and establish himself in the first team. Cerri he knows that the journey is long and he has had an excellent season in Bari, but he doesn’t hide.
“I think that every player has his own maturation and I don’t preclude the fact that perhaps once my maturation is complete I can play my cards to be there”he concluded. A clear message, which testifies to his great ambition.
