The International festival of Annecy animation cinema, running from June 8 to 14, continues to be a pivotal event for the animation industry. The festival gathers professionals worldwide, showcasing talent through competitions, market spaces, and a diverse program that explores animation in exhibitions, Work in Progress sessions, Masterclasses, and Making Of presentations.

Two key events, the South American animation stand and academic agenda, will highlight collaboration between audiovisual cooperation offices from the Andean countries (Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela) and the Southern Cone (Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay). This collaboration aims to support representatives of the 12 projects from other eyes and new shores. The Proimágen Colombia stand will also serve as a central hub for promoting Latin American animation.

These workshops selected 18 Andean talents to enhance their participation in the animation content market through networking opportunities at Annecy.
