Intense and biting cold. Real. Winter. This is what will happen in Milan in the next few hours according to meteorologists 3Bmeteo. The cause of this drop in temperatures is only one: cold air coming down from the North.
“The last day of the year will bring with it colder air from Northern Europe, associated with a cloudy New Year’s Eve morning and with clear spells to follow, from the afternoon – explained Andrea Colombo of 3Bmeteo -. Daytime temperatures decreasing and the climate cold even on New Year’s Eve, which will be starry everywhere but with widespread frosts”.
The weather for the first days of 2026 and the unknown snow
“The first days of the new year will see substantially stable weather, with alternation between sunshine and irregular clouds but with a low risk of precipitation, at most confined to the eastern plains between 3 and 4 January – continued the expert -. Looking further up to Epiphany, while taking into account a highly uncertain scenario, a new entry of cold air from the North is likely which could also be accompanied by snow down to low altitude in the period between 6 and 7 January”.
