VALENCIA 28 Nov. (EUROPE PRESS) –

The Civil Guard has arrested three people after searching a vehicle during a routine road check. They hid 300 grams of cocaine and eight grams of ketamine among feminine hygiene products, as reported by the Armed Institute in a statement.

When the officers were carrying out a routine road check, as a result of the police response operational plan for retail traffic, they stopped a vehicle occupied by three people who, when the car stopped, began to show obvious signs of nervousness.

During the intervention, the agents observed that one of the occupants had traces of what could be cocaine on his face. Given this circumstance, an inspection of the vehicle began, which made it possible to locate small quantities of narcotic substances, including cocaine and ketamine, which, in the first instance, could have led one to believe that they were intended for personal consumption.

However, a more thorough search of the interior of the car was carried out and a bag was found. Inside, camouflaged among feminine hygiene products, she hid a compact block of alleged cocaine, which confirmed the suspicion of a possible drug trafficking crime. In total, 300 grams of cocaine and eight grams of ketamine were found.

At that moment, the agents intercepted the substances and arrested the three occupants of the vehicle: a man and a woman of Spanish nationality and a third of North African origin, aged 49, 44 and 26 years. They are accused of a crime against public health.

The investigation has been carried out by agents from the Main Post of the Chiva Civil Guard. The proceedings have been delivered to the Court of First Instance and Instruction number 3 of Requena.
