Final spurt on “The Masked Singer”: Actor Clemens Schick narrowly missed making it to the final.

Conjured up for Harry Otter: Clemens Schick was exposed in the music show “The Masked Singer”. The actor (“The Investigation”, “Rave On”) was dressed as an otter in a magician costume. In the fifth episode of the ProSieben show, the 53-year-old received too few votes from the audience and therefore had to identify himself. This means that four masked stars remain – before the finale on December 13th.

Whoever disguised themselves as a sorcerer’s apprentice didn’t stay safe until the end – at least if you followed the audience’s rating: In first place, the viewers guessed moderator Klaas Heufer-Umlauf behind the mask. But Schick ended up in second place.

The actor got into his role from episode to episode: “It was the first time I stood on a stage like that and then sang. You heard how wrong it was,” he joked after the unmasking. “At some point I realized that this animal was just so much fun for me to play with, and that’s why I got access here.”

Presenter and advertising icon Verona Pooth (“You will be helped”) and comedian Chris Tall, who form the regular cast of the advice team in the twelfth season of the TV show, were right with their tip. Only the Spanish-German pop singer Alvaro Soler, who appeared as a guest in the episode, suspected actor Daniel Brühl.

In the fifth program under the motto “Sports Night” the masked stars performed sports anthems – from the Super Bowl to the Olympic Games. Schick sang and danced to “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond and “Major Tom” by Peter Schilling.

In the live show “The Masked Singer” celebrities appear as singers, but they cannot be recognized because of their elaborate costumes. Only her voice and mysterious clues give any idea who is on stage. Whoever gets too few votes from the audience is exposed – or who wins the final in the end.

The noodle called “Rave-ioli”, the egg “Eggi”, the cow “Muuhnika” and the monkey “King” have a chance of doing so in the last edition. Can be seen on Saturday, December 13th, from 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben and on the Joyn streaming service.
