Cinerius strengthens its German business with an acquisition

Cinerius Financial Partners is further expanding its position in the German market: Frankfurt am Main-based Büttner, Kolberg & Partner Vermögensverwaltung GmbH (BKP) is joining the group, as Cinerius announced on Wednesday. Completion of the transaction is still subject to regulatory approval and is expected in the second quarter of 2026. Through the acquisition and continued organic growth, Cinerius exceeds the 16 billion euro mark in assets under management for the first time.

BKP has been one of Germany’s renowned independent asset managers since it was founded in 1990. The company stands for long-term customer relationships, high quality advice and a value-oriented investment philosophy. The managing partners Jens Thomas and Klaus Kehl emphasize that the partnership with Cinerius creates additional freedom to ensure their quality standards in customer service and asset management in the long term. founder Peter W. Kolberg sees the merger as the basis for strategically continuing the company’s tradition.

The Zug-based Cinerius Group currently has twelve partner companies with over 200 employees at 15 locations in the DACH region and Luxembourg. BKP brings in customer assets in the three-digit million range and is responsible, among other things, for the award-winning BKP Classic fund.
