She put things in perspective! Adela Vincze replaced her colleague Dan Dangle with her friend Matej Sajfa Cifra. In the renewed show Milujem Slovensko, the first episode of which will be broadcast by JOJ TV on New Year’s Eve, both will stand behind the captain’s desks. The change, which Adela initially resisted, provoked enthusiastic reactions from their fans. Some immediately, but the rest had to be explained first. For example, Saif’s wife Veronika Cifrová Ostrihoňová. What did Vincze get out of her partner’s kitchen?
It took ten days to definitively transform the show Milujem Slovensko into jockey colors, which had previously been shockingly kicked off by STVR. Moderator Martin Nikodým was clear from the beginning, but the arrival of Adela and Sajfa was the proverbial icing on the cake. The entertainer’s wife Veronika, who works as a member of the European Parliament in Brussels and has two children with the radio announcer, took a pragmatic approach to the information. Her reactions were two. “She reacted enthusiastically. There were other people there when I said it, so her reaction was very positive.” Matej revealed in Jojkár’s Ranných noviny.
When a woman says yes, it can sometimes mean no, and that’s exactly what happened with the Cifrovs. In private, she told him what she had to say. “But, of course, then we had to discuss what she rightfully accused me of – that why I didn’t consult with her.” revealed Saif saying that he actually made the decision without her.
Vinczeová also noticed that the Cifros first had to clarify what Matej’s work in Bratislava and their family life in Belgium would look like. “In my opinion, Veronika did not fully know and rather solved it logistically, because when you say that you are going to a new project, everyone feels that now… It was always funny when they asked me, but now you have more time when you are not in that Marquise. I was in Markíz twenty days a year, and I love Slovakia will be filmed in eight days. So, maybe that’s why Veronika was worried about it, and I think so, when she understood that in eight days the whole series will be filmed, which means that we will film the whole thing in January and then we will only watch TV in nostalgic optimism. That may have taken her by surprise, but I think she’ll be happy to have it set up like this.” Adela told Koktejl.sk.
At her home, it was Vincze’s husband who thought of uniting two friends under the joiker banner. “Viktor, he told me a long time ago that I should go and do I Love Slovakia with Sajf. And in this polyamorous triangle of mine Dano, Sajfa and I wanted to sufficiently treat everyone’s emotions, and when we called with Dano, he was fine with it,” laughed the host of Little Different, which will be broadcast online next year and part of it will be a paid version.
Vincze explained why she finally agreed to work without her traditional partner Dan Dangle. “I didn’t fight back tooth and nail. Rather, it was a feeling, and I don’t want it to be understood now that it was about television as such, but I perceived I Love Slovakia as a long-term bond with Dan (Danglo, editor’s note), our ‘partner’, and of course also with Martin and the whole team. It all felt like when you break up and suddenly jump into a new relationship and move into a new apartment. I really honestly felt this for a long time that I will not go to another version of I love Slovakia, but Dan and I have a very good relationship and we are working on something even now. So he stayed in the old apartment of another television, also in the shows in which I also did and I understand that we have freedom and can do what we want in a relationship. And when all of this resonated with me afterwards, Sajfa was definitely such an addition. Rather, I dealt with personal settings,” she explained.
What finally decided? “It just kept coming together, and first I asked Saif in particular if he could imagine something like that when this offer came to me. And then I randomly met a few people who told me of their own accord that we should do it with Saif. I probably felt too strong a commitment to Dan and our working relationship together,” joked Adela. Vincze added that she has no stress from Miluje Slovakia, whose New Year’s Eve version was filmed a few days ago. “I’m looking forward to it and I’ve always liked filming Miluje Slovakia as a reward, even if I get up early in the morning and go there to play, because I know where people go early in the morning for work, for a living, and this is really for reward. And when to do something with Saif, I think this, because it’s about some playfulness and liveliness that we have between us.” added.
