2025 CicLAvia Events: A Month-by-Month Guide

February 23: West Adams Meets University Park

This year kicks off with a brand new route, CicLAvia’s 58th event. Cyclists and pedestrians will venture along Jefferson Boulevard from La Brea Avenue to Vermont Avenue, and continue on Vermont Avenue between Jefferson and Exposition Boulevard. The event runs from 9 am to 3 pm, providing ample time to explore and enjoy the scenery.

April 21: Koreatown Meets Hollywood

Presented by Metro, this event takes place on April 21. Cyclists will journey through lively Koreatown and Hollywood, experiencing the vibrant cultures and urban landscapes of these iconic neighborhoods. The event will be held from 9 am to 4 pm.

May 19: CicLAmini—Pico Union

For those seeking a closer, community-focused experience, there’s CicLAmini, a mini-cycling event in Pico Union. This new route offers a great opportunity to explore this dynamic neighborhood. The event will take place from 10 am to 3 pm.

June 22: Historic South LA Meets Watts

On June 22, cyclists will immerse themselves in the rich cultural history of Historic South LA and Watts. Presenting yet another Metro-sponsored event, the route will run from 9 am to 4 pm.

August 17: Culver City Meets Venice

The heart of Westside Vibes awaits on August 17 with a route connecting Culver City and Venice. This Metro-sponsored event will be held from 9 am to 4 pm, enabling participants to explore these beachside communities.

September 11: CicLAmini—San Pedro

For a unique take on San Pedro’s beauty and charm, join the CicLAmini event there on September 11. The route will be open from 10 am to 3 pm, offering a scenic experience for all ages.

October 12: Heart of LA

The annual anchor route and fan favorite returns on October 12. Dubbed “Heart of LA,” this event, presented by Metro, will run from 9 am to 4 pm, making it the perfect opportunity to explore downtown Los Angeles.

December 7: Melrose Ave

Wrap up the year on December 7 with a ride on Melrose Avenue. From iconic shops to trendy restaurants, this route will be open from 9 am to 3 pm, concluding CicLAvia’s active year with style.
