Declassified Documents Shed Light on potential Internal Conspiracy

The release of previously classified documents related to the John F. Kennedy (JFK) assassination has reignited debate and speculation surrounding the events of November 22, 1963 [[3]]. On March 18th,thousands of these archives were made public, fulfilling a long-awaited promise. As of today, 1,123 documents are available online, part of a larger collection of 80,000 expected to be released in the coming days.

The assassination of president Kennedy in Dallas, Texas, led to the arrest of Lee Harvey Oswald. However, Oswald was killed just two days later by Jack Ruby, a nightclub owner with alleged mafia ties. This sequence of events has fueled numerous conspiracy theories, some of which the newly released documents appear to support.

CIA’s Shadowy Operations and the Cuban Connection

Initial attempts to link Cuba to the assassination have largely been debunked by the documents scrutinized thus far. However, the files reveal extensive details about the CIA’s global operations during that era. Peter Kornbluh, a senior analyst at the national security archive, notes that the documents expose the CIA’s efforts to influence elections, sabotage economies, and overthrow governments worldwide.

Specifically, the documents contain new information regarding ZR/Rifle,a CIA association established in 1961,allegedly for the assassination of foreign leaders. The agency’s obsession with undermining the Cuban revolution is also heavily documented. One intriguing detail reveals that in 1963, the CIA planted hidden microphones in a Maryland safe house where Cuban exiles met with U.S.officials. The purpose was to monitor their conversations and investigate potential counter-revolutionary programs operating within the U.S. without the CIA’s knowledge.

Furthermore, the archives contain documentation related to CIA activities throughout Latin America, including operations in major cities like Bogota,Buenos Aires,Caracas, and Mexico City. These operations aimed to monitor and counter the influence of Cuba and the Soviet Union in the region.

Arms Trafficking and a “State Within a state”

The declassified documents also implicate the CIA in arms trafficking. A memorandum from June 30, 1961, authored by Arthur Schlesinger jr., a close advisor to Kennedy, meticulously analyzes the agency’s activities and the lack of governmental oversight. Schlesinger Jr. warned that the CIA was becoming a “state inside a state,” criticizing its interventions in countries like Cuba,Indonesia, and Vietnam, arguing that these actions had detrimental consequences for U.S. foreign policy.

The CIA’s involvement in covert operations during the Cold War is well-documented. Such as, Operation Mockingbird, a secret CIA project, involved using journalists for propaganda purposes. such revelations contribute to the ongoing debate about the agency’s role and accountability.

Theories of Internal Conspiracy

The assassination of JFK remains a topic of intense scrutiny and debate. While Lee Harvey Oswald was officially named the lone assassin, many believe that a more complex conspiracy was at play. The newly released documents are expected to fuel these theories, particularly those suggesting involvement by elements within the U.S. government and intelligence community.

Where are the limits imposed by the system (…) there is a machine that places presidents because it serves it (…) and if the machine he feels that the president deviates, assassinate him, they kill him as killed Kennedy.
Daniel Ortega, President of Nicaragua (2015)

Some theories posit that the assassination was the result of an internal conspiracy involving ultra-conservative sectors within the U.S.The alleged plot involves a complex web of connections between the CIA, the mafia, and anti-Castro Cuban exiles, tracing back to the pre-1959 era of Havana’s “Empire of Havana,” a mafia-controlled paradise overseen by figures like Meyer Lansky and Fulgencio Batista.

it is hoped that the release of these JFK assassination archives will help to expose the true masterminds behind the events in Dallas and those who continue to operate in the shadows.
