Inspired by the story of “The Little Prince”, Daugavpils invites you to enjoy Christmas in the “Galaxy of Dreams”. The city’s main holiday tree in Vienības Square has turned into the axis of the universe, in the branches of which countless Dream Galaxies shine. Festive mood enters the streets, parks and squares of the city. On the other hand, Daugavpils cultural institutions and tourist facilities have prepared a special holiday program that will allow adults and children to enjoy Advent, Christmas and New Year in all the shades of the Galaxy of Dreams!
From December 1, 2025 to January 7, 2026 at Vienības Square on weekdays from 17.00 to 18.00, on holidays and public holidays from 16.00 to 17.00 Moments of joy for children with characters from fairy tales and cartoons. On the other hand, in Dubrovina Park and A. Pumpura Square from 17.00 to 20.00 Musical walks in the spirit of Christmas.
Also, from December 8, residents and guests of the city will have the opportunity to get acquainted with The works of the visual art competition “Mazais princis” by students of general education institutions in Daugavpils. The exhibition will be on display until January 7, 2026 in the shop windows of Vienības nama, at the intersection of Saules and Gimnāzijas streets, in the Jaunbūves library (161 18. novembra street), in the Raina center (Komunālā iela 2).
