Christian Kirk will have to wait before starting his adventure with Houston’s Texans.
The receiver suffers from an injury to an ischiojambier and he will be away on Sunday, for the first match of the season against the Rams of Los Angeles, according to Adam Schefter toESPN.
His absence could also stretch, while a source said to schefter that the injury could hold him out for two weeks.
Kirk spent the first seven seasons of his career with the Cardinals of Arizona and the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was inconvenienced by injuries in the last two campaigns, which limited him to 20 games in total.
Last year, he captured 27 balloons for gains of 379 yards, with a touchdown.
Kirk has had the best season of his career in 2022 with the Jaguars. He then made 84 receptions, including eight affected, and he had raised 1108 yards.
