Chloé N’Gazi: Women’s D1 Departure

by Archynetys News Desk

There was no doubt about it, even after the closure of the winter transfer window three weeks ago: Chloé N’Gazi and OM have decided to end their collaboration by mutual agreement, the Olympian club announced this Friday afternoon. And according to our information, the goalkeeper should sign up with Montpellier, bottom of Arkema Premier League, which also recorded the arrival of former OM captain Ashley Clark a few weeks ago.

OM then decided, during the fall, to part ways with the former Parisian but no exit door opened during the transfer window, even though her profile had (already) been offered to Montpellier.

The matter is now settled for N’Gazi, who joined the club last winter and quickly overtook Charlotte Verdier in the goalkeeping hierarchy last season, before suffering the same fate this year. The 29-year-old will now have to find her rhythm in preparation for the African Cup of Nations, which she hopes to play with Algeria in a month (March 17 – April 3).
