The leaked images show the 19-year-old princess, dressed in civilian attire, inside the Zona Franca shopping center. According to the Prosecutor’s Office, the investigation falls under Article 161A of the Chilean Criminal Code, which addresses the illegal collection and dissemination of private images without consent. In response to the privacy breach, the Spanish Royal Household, La Zarzuela, has expressed its intention to file a formal complaint through the Spanish Embassy in chile. Princess Leonor arrived in Punta Arenas on March 18th aboard the Juan Sebastián de Elcano, a Spanish Navy training vessel.She is currently undergoing military instruction alongside 75 fellow Naval School of Marín cadets. the ship has since departed for Valparaíso, continuing its training voyage across the Pacific.
