CHI St. Joseph Children’s Health Cancels Mental Health Conference Amid Low Ticket Sales

CHI St. Joseph Children’s Health has announced the cancellation of its previously scheduled mental health conference, “Crisis Point: Emerging from a Mental Health Epidemic.” The event, initially set for March 7 to 9, had to be called off due to fewer ticket sales than anticipated.

Ticket Refunds Provided

According to Meg Strunk, the director of development, all attendees who had purchased tickets will receive full refunds.

New Behavioral Health Speaker Series in Development

Instead of the conference, the nonprofit plans to organize a Behavioral Health Speaker Series. This series is likely to feature some of the original conference speakers. Strunk shared that the organization is in touch with these experts to determine suitable dates throughout the year.

Series Details Revealed

The series will be held at the Mary Francis Bachmann School, with dates to be announced in the coming weeks. This adaptability showcases the nonprofit’s commitment to addressing mental health concerns in the community.
