The municipal president of Corregidora, Chepe Guerrero, participated in the Ordinary Session of the Education Commission of COPARMEX Querétaro (COEDUQ), which was held at the facilities of the Technological University of Corregidora (UTC), with the objective of promoting the synergy of the triple helix: academia, businessmen and the government in favor of educational issues.
Chepe Guerrero reiterated his commitment for Corregidora to continue as a reference at the state level in educational matters, with public policies such as the implementation of Free School Transportation and the scholarship program, which address the needs of families and help prevent school dropouts.
“Any effort that a municipality makes, any effort that COPARMEX makes, as in this case with its education commission, and that society in general joins in, is an investment and a bet on the future of all of us,” he said.
It should be noted that the COPARMEX Querétaro Education Commission is made up of 36 institutions that, together with businessmen, seek to join forces to promote education at the state level.
The session was also headed by the general director of the ITESM Campus Querétaro and president of the COEDUQ, Pascual Alcocer; the rector of the Technological University of Corregidora (UTC), Alberto Lugo; the rector of the CESBA Campus Querétaro and vice president of the COEDUQ, Paulo De Arondo Sáenz, the coordinator of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education in the State, Orfelinda Torres and the Academic and Operations director of the Escuela Libre de Negocios and secretary of the COEDUQ, Paris Gómez.
