“It’s been 10 days, then two weeks, until two months later I’m still bleeding,” he said.
Chelsea then decided to see an ob-gyn doctor. He underwent hormone checks and a series of other examinations. The results also found no abnormalities.
“The uterus is healthy, lots of eggs, no myomas, cysts and so on,” he said.
He was only given hormone medication to balance the condition and stop the bleeding. However, after 10 days of taking the medicine, there was no significant change.
Chelsea’s body still felt weak, her stomach was getting more painful, which had the effect of fluctuating moods, the effects of hormones. He then tried to consult an internal medicine doctor and underwent a complete blood test.
“All the blood results are good, there are only a few that are low. But in general all are good,” he said.
Because it didn’t get better, Chelsea went back to the obstetrician to have the IUD removed. Again, the inspection results stated that everything was in good condition.
“The question is why? There have been four kinds of medicine and three doctors but it hasn’t stopped,” he said.
Stomach Swells up to 5 Kg
During those two months, Chelsea’s activities were clearly disrupted. Over time, he felt his body improve, or vice versa.
Her stomach had swollen until it looked like she was pregnant. He also experienced cramps, weakness, dizziness, and gained almost 5 kilograms in weight in two months.
Finally, Chelsea decided to seek a second opinion from a fourth doctor in Malaysia. That’s where the bright spots started to appear.
“During the ultrasound, this white circle was immediately discovered,” he said without going into further detail on the finding.
So what’s the cause? Is it diet, lack of exercise, or other factors?
“The answer is one, no one can be sure. Because hormonal imbalance can happen to everyone, especially those who have given birth, and my genetics too,” explained Chelsea.
Doctors in Malaysia call small procedures or small surgery a necessary step to solve this problem.
“The point is, there’s no need to worry, tomorrow we will fix it with a small surgical procedure,” he concluded.
Now, Chelsea has undergone a series of medical procedures, including hysteroscopy and other procedures to treat the disorder she is experiencing.
