Chelsea Green: WWE Women’s Locker Room Show Idea

by Archynetys Sports Desk

WWE Superstar Chelsea Green recently appeared on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio to promote the new series WWE: Unreal. During the interview with hosts Danny Murphy and Evan Real, Green pitched a concept for a spin-off series focused entirely on the internal dynamics of the female roster.

Green shared her desire to see the reality cameras capture the behind-the-scenes atmosphere of the women’s division. “If we had an [Unreal] that was just the girls’ locker room, which I would absolutely love. Let’s put it into the universe,” Green said. She noted that while “99.9%” of the locker room gets along and supports one another, the high-pressure environment inevitably creates friction. “It would be interesting to see who actually doesn’t like me,” she joked.

The former champion referenced a specific incident from last Friday where she lost her title to Julia [Giulia]stating that the heat of the moment often leads to unscripted outbursts. “She took the title off me and she near… took my weave right outta my head,” Green recalled. “I am sure I said some things in that moment… I’m sure my mouth was going faster than my brain, so it’d be interesting if they caught those moments.”

Green also opened up about the challenges of transitioning into acting while maintaining a wrestling career, particularly because she uses her real name in the ring. She admitted that Hollywood has a “weird vibe” where they desire talents with large social media followings but often hold stigmas against professional wrestlers.

To combat this typecasting, Green revealed she drastically alters her appearance for auditions. “I will shut it down and that’s why I took off all my nails. I don’t have fake eyelashes. I don’t have fake hair,” Green explained. “I look like Joe Schmo… because I would rather that than what you see on my Instagram, which is glam times a thousand.” She noted that while wrestlers look “incredible” like action figures, casting directors are often looking for people who look “real.”
