Chega’s National Council will meet in Faro, this Saturday, to approve the party’s accounts and analyze the results of the legislative elections on March 10 and the political situation.

The meeting of the highest body between conventions is scheduled to begin at 3 pm and has five points on the agenda, including the inauguration of the councilors elected at the last National Convention, which took place in Viana do Castelo, and the approval of the annual accounts of the party, “namely the budget for 2024 and accounts for the 2023 financial year”.

The 17th National Chega Council will also analyze the electoral results of the legislative elections held on March 10th, as well as the political situation, with time also set aside for discussion of “other matters”.

According to the information provided by the party, it is not expected that the conclusions of this meeting that is taking place will be presented at the end
