Tyler Robinson, who was arrested friday, is currently being held on suspicion of aggravated murder, felony discharge of a weapon resulting in serious bodily harm, and obstruction of justice. Formal charges have not yet been filed.
Law enforcement officials allege that Robinson is the individual responsible for shooting Charlie Kirk in the neck on Wednesday afternoon at Utah Valley University. Kirk was immediately transported to a medical facility but succumbed to his injuries.

Footage surfaced showing the alleged perpetrator, clad in a black t-shirt, cap, and sunglasses.Prior to Robinson’s apprehension, authorities sought public assistance in identifying the shooter. According to the probable cause affidavit,Robinson had previously expressed his animosity towards Kirk to members of his family.
Charlie Kirk is survived by his wife, Erika, who addressed the public on Friday for the frist time as his death, and their two children. He was 31 years old.
