Hanafin, who stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 184 pounds, solidified his commitment to the Mountaineers during a meeting with head coach Rich Rodriguez.

“I told him I didn’t need to look any further and I was ready to commit to him and his program. My older brothers have been through this process and they both have told me that when you know,you know. And I just know this is where I want to be,” he said.

During his visit, hanafin spent important time with wide receivers coach ryan Garrett, senior offensive assistant Travis Trickett, and other coaching staff members. Thes coaches detailed the offensive strategies and explained how Hanafin would fit into the team’s plans for the wide receiver position.
