Charging Stations Obligations | ENGIE

by Archynetys Economy Desk

Adopted in 2019, the mobility orientation law organizes the installation of terminals for electric vehicles in new and existing buildings, setting precise thresholds according to the type and size of the parking lots.

It mainly targets businesses and communities to develop an accessible charging network, promoting the transition to electricity.

The law also requires electrical preparation upstream, although individuals benefit from the right to plug and public aid. This regulation sustainably strengthens the infrastructure targeting 10 to 20% of equipment depending on the case, also integrating access for people with reduced mobility.
