Yassine Fall, Minister of Justice, Minister of Justice, attended today, alongside Cheikh Diba, Minister of Finance and Budget, the celebration of the twentieth anniversary of the National Financial Information Processing Unit (Centif).
“In twenty years, Centif has been able to build recognized and respected expertise,” said the Minister of Justice. And added: “The challenges remain significant, but the commitment of our institutions and our partners remains decisive in the construction of a more robust and more transparent financial framework, serving the development and security of our country.”
This event brought together several representatives of national institutions, counterpart financial intelligence units, regional and international organizations as well as several experts from public and private service.
Having become a real pillar in the fight against money laundering, the financing of terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, Centif is fully part of the dynamic of the government project aimed at strengthening the fight against financial crime.
