Bogotá, October 30, 2025 (@mincultura). November will be music month in Colombia. More than 1,300 musicians from all over the country joined Celebrate Music 2025, a strategy of the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Knowledge through the National Music Plan for Coexistence, within the framework of the Arts for Peace Program.

Celebra will strengthen 174 organizations and mobilize the cultural ecosystem in 12 departments. This edition will allow the activation of music markets, festivals and sound circuits. In addition, it will promote the meeting and participation of communities through the transformative power of music.

This initiative is structured into three categories: Music for life, which promotes community gathering through musical performance; Festive Culture, which encourages and makes regional festivals visible; and Sound Circuits, which brings together the different actors of the Colombian musical ecosystem to strengthen the governance of the sector.

People will be able to attend concerts, music markets, talks, training activities and samples that integrate traditional, academic, community and contemporary music. The alliance with more than 170 organizations in the territory guarantees the sustainability and local impact of the activities. Celebrate Music 2025 is consolidated as a space for dialogue and creation that not only celebrates the sonic diversity of the country, but also generates concrete opportunities for musicians, cultural managers and communities in the processes of building peace and coexistence. In addition, it encourages citizens to enjoy our musical and artistic expressions.
