After last week’s ribbon cutting, the “Slow Park” of Foggia continues all its activities. The new city garrison of via Manfrediadjacent to the Intermodal Hub, has recently welcomed young people, families, children, the elderly and various initiatives in the space whose logo is inspired by the snail, symbol par excellence of slow life and tranquility, with the idea of inviting the community to reclaim their time to enjoy social relationships, get to know themselves better, rediscover local food and wine excellences, local products, the taste of good food, also through the calendar of events that will liven up the Christmas holidays. Like the new weekend of music, fun and entertainment that the Piazza dello “Slow Park” is ready to host. All appointments are free of charge.
This evening, Friday 12 December 2025 from 6.00 pm, Karaoke will be held in the square with a large screen, music and prizes with the involvement of the public present. Event hosted by Giuseppe Gaeta and DJ set by Pedro Ricio. Saturday 13 Decemberfrom 8.00 pm, Live music from the 70s, 80s, 90s and beyond with the Vocal Band. It is a group that offers a musical journey through the great successes of the 70s, 80s and 90s, with a repertoire that combines Italian and international songs. The band is able to create atmospheres suitable for both listening and entertainment, offering versatile and engaging performances, ideal for events of all kinds. Sunday 14 Decemberin the morning from 10:00 to 13:00, space for the little ones with entertainment, children’s make-up and mascots by the Misericordia Borgo Mezzanone; in the evening, starting from 7pm, Christmas Street Band: traveling musical show with Santa Clauses with a great desire to party. The musicians are capable of dragging the audience into a cheerful Christmas atmosphere, where the various musical genres embrace comic verve and the desire to transform the scene into a great party.
The consortium of social cooperatives manages the municipally owned structure Beyond the business network. Thirteen kiosks where you can give «Space for your time» and turn and go inside “following the tape” red in color that guides visitors to slowly taste the typical excellences of our territory through the presence of: “Papille in Slow” pizzeria, “Morsi” fry shop, “La taglioria” cutting shop, “Atzori Wine. A divine world” wine shop, “centonove/novantasei” aperitif shop, “Binario 6” grill restaurant, “Maui Tiki Bari” cocktail bar and other realities that will open; plus a large area in which to host events, a barrier-free playground, a dog area and lots of enthusiasm, to contribute to the social, cultural and urban regeneration of the community. The “Slow Park” is open every day from 10am to midnight.
