Cantaleum Live: The Musicians Event | Details & Highlights

by Archynetys News Desk
A winter evening full of nostalgia in the Cantaleum: “I Musichieri” takes you into sophisticated music from Strauss to Kálmán – with waltz, tango and the charming “Beromünster” sound.

Immerse yourself in the sophisticated atmosphere of the period around the turn of the century to the middle of the 20th century, when on ocean liners, in hotel halls, coffee houses and spa pavilions, not only virtuoso bravura pieces but also blissful operetta melodies, snappy hits and lively dances such as the Viennese waltz, tango, foxtrot and Charleston were heard. In Switzerland, in the 50s and 60s, at the time of the radio station in Beromünster, there was a very unique entertainment music in the swinging, palatable “Beromünster” sound, played by the in-house entertainment orchestra, of which “I musichieri” has some pieces in its repertoire. But of course the big names of this genre such as Johann Strauss, Robert Stolz, Emerich Kalman and the great Viennese violin virtuoso Fritz Kreisler are not missing.
