Community Steps Up: Solidarity Bingo to Offset Medical Costs

The event aims to raise funds for essential medical expenses not covered by insurance, such as specialized tests and post-transplant care.
Event Details:
The solidarity bingo will take place on Saturday, April 12th, at 3:00 PM at the Quiroz School, located at Racedo 170 in Paraná.Organizers are appealing to the community for their support and participation.

Gustavo is scheduled to travel to Buenos Aires next week for crucial pre-transplant studies. While the family is grateful that iOSPER is covering the transplant itself, the costs associated with specialized monitoring and analyses are proving to be a significant challenge. Some tests can cost upwards of 60,000 to 80,000 pesos, due to a lack of agreements between iOSPER and certain medical entities.
Multiple myeloma accounts for roughly 1% of all cancers. According to the American Cancer Society, approximately 35,000 new cases are diagnosed in the United States each year. Bone marrow transplants are a common treatment option, offering the potential for long-term remission.
