(Ottawa) Post Canada urges the Syndicate of Posts Workers to review its offers after the meeting at the Wednesday negotiation table.
The Crown Company says that the union has “maintained or hardened” its position on many points in addition to adding new claims. In doing so, she judges that the gap between the parties remains important.
Posts Canada claims to have received unions from the union last week in response to the “best and latest” company offers, presented in May.
Post Canada indicates that after examining the union’s offers in recent days, she urged him to “review her offers so that they align with the realities with which the company is confronted”.
Post Canada says it is open to examining and discussing the modified proposals.
On Tuesday, Post Canada declared a loss before taxes of 407 million in the second quarter, its parcel deliveries activities that fell due to uncertainty linked to the labor market.
