Bears Coach Addresses Penalties, Offensive struggles After Loss

The CHICAGO BEARS are working to clean up penalty issues and improve offensive performance after a disappointing defeat, with the coaching staff vowing to stay passionate and committed.

Following a recent loss, the CHICAGO BEARS are focused on addressing key areas of concern, including a high number of penalties and inconsistent offensive execution. Despite the setbacks, coaches have expressed a commitment to enhancement and a determination to turn the season around.

Offensive coordinator JACOB JOHNSON acknowledged the need for growth and progress within the offense. “We’re going to keep growing,” JOHNSON stated.”We’ll keep being passionate about this offense, him and I, passionate about this team and winning.”

The BEARS were penalized 12 times during the game, including three flags during the possession that ended with CAIRO SANTOS‘ missed field goal at the start of the fourth quarter.

Coaching Staff Acknowledges Need for Improvement

“When you look down at the stat sheet and you see 12 penalties, that’s got to get cleaned up in a hurry.”

JOHNSON took responsibility for the team’s shortcomings, emphasizing the need for a collective effort to address the penalty issues. “We made too many ther late in the game, myself included,” JOHNSON said. “There were a number of things that I could have done better, a number of things that a number of guys could have done better. When you look down at the stat sheet and you see 12 penalties, that’s got to get cleaned up in a hurry, yet we’ve been saying that all training camp, as well.”

“We’ll find a way to get that done. It’s going to be a collective effort. No one’s pointing fingers,” JOHNSON added.
