The rapper Calbo, member of the French group Arsenicdied this Sunday, January 4, his family announced in a press release. “The Mbani family is deeply saddened to announce the death of Calbo Mbani, known to the public as Calbo,” his family said.
The latter evokes “particularly painful moments” and calls for “kindness, respect and restraint, both towards himself and those close to him. Beyond the public figure, Calbo was above all a close friend, a parent, a loved one”.
Calbo was the co-founder in the 90s of the Ärsenik group, which he formed with his brother Lino. “Lino lost his big sister four months ago, and his big brother today. Let’s support the family as it should,” declared rapper Rohff in a tribute message posted on his social networks. He salutes a “great man of rap” who transmitted “strength and positivity” to several generations.
