The luxury brand Bugatti, in cooperation with the manufacturer Factor, presented a technologically extremely radical road bike that uses design principles from hypersports and will be available only in a strictly limited number of pieces.
In cooperation with the British manufacturer Factor Bikes, the Bugatti automobile company presented the new Bugatti Factor ONE road bike, which is one of the most extreme series-produced models in the history of cycling. The project was created with the aim of transferring the design procedures used in the development of hypersports to the world of professional racing bikes. The result is a machine designed without compromises in terms of aerodynamics, stiffness and weight, while its construction is in many ways not subject to UCI rules, which, for example, limit the geometry of common racing bikes, the width of the front fork and prohibit some ultra-aerodynamic solutions.
The frame is made of advanced carbon composite and is created entirely in Factor’s own development and production facilities. The designers used a wider spacing of the front fork, a modified profile of the head part and significantly shaped aerodynamic elements to reduce air resistance at high speeds. The airflow around the front part of the frame is also optimized, which should improve stability and steering precision when driving fast. Development took place in a similar fashion to Bugatti’s hypercars, where every detail is tested for measurable performance benefits.
The bike uses specially developed components, including Black Inc Bugatti Hyper 62 carbon wheels with a 62mm rim profile. The weight of a pair of wheels is approximately 1298 grams, while the construction uses advanced carbon fiber layering to increase torsional stiffness and transfer power more efficiently. The manufacturer states that the combination of low air resistance and high stability should enable long-term driving at very high speeds without deterioration of controllability.
Several components were created directly for this model. The saddle was supplied by Selle Italia, the brake discs and converters came from Carbon-Ti, and the tires were prepared by Continental. The entire bike uses an integrated design with no visible cables and a minimal number of joints to reduce aerodynamic drag and weight.

The design follows the typical elements of the Bugatti brand. It uses a two-tone graphic split down the middle of the frame and the traditional blue color that has historically been associated with the marque’s French racing cars. The front part of the frame also features the so-called dancing elephant, which is one of the most famous Bugatti symbols.
The Bugatti Factor ONE will be produced in only 250 numbered units. According to the manufacturer’s information, the bike is mainly intended for collectors and sports enthusiasts who demand maximum performance regardless of the price. The basic price ranges from 23 to 25 thousand dollars, which in Europe means approximately 24 to 26 thousand euros without individual modifications. Sales will begin after the official presentation and the bike will also be available to customers in the European Union through selected Bugatti and Factor dealers.
