According to the associate professor and Doctor Mai Van Khiêm, director of said center, the forecasts relating to the trajectory of the Typhon Bualoi remain divergent. European and Japanese models believe that it could go north, affecting northern Vietnam or southern China, while American forecasts anticipate a trip to the center of Vietnam, especially between Ha Tinh and Quang Ngai.
According to forecasts from the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasts, the most likely scenario is that of landing on the Central Coast, in accordance with the climatic characteristics of this period of the year. The risk that the storm is strengthening in super typhoon or exceeding level 13 remains low. The Meteorology and Hydrology Administration continues to monitor and will publish a bulletin concerning the storm approach on September 25.
