by Archynetys Sports Desk

Portuguese player Bruno Fernandes revealed that Manchester United wanted to sell services in the summer, explaining that the management cares about money more than anything else.

Bruno has been defending the Manchester United logo since January 2020, while this season he continues to provide very good performances under the leadership of his compatriot Ruben Amorim, contributing 12 goals in the English Premier League this season.

Bruno: Manchester United wanted to sell me

Bruno seemed upset after Manchester United’s 4-4 draw with Bournemouth, speaking for the first time about the club’s desire to get rid of his services in the summer, as he received a huge offer from Al Hilal Saudi Arabia.

Bruno said in statements published by the English website givemesport: “There is a moment when money became the most important thing for the management of Manchester United. The club wanted to sell me in the summer, but I think they did not have the courage to make this decision.”

He added: “I decided to stay at Manchester United for family reasons, but I also love the club, and the conversation with Amorim was another reason to stay.”

He continued his statements: “I felt that the Manchester United management was saying (if Bruno leaves, it is not a bad thing)… What happened hurts me a lot, and also makes me feel sad because I am a player who does not give the club any reason to criticize him.”

Before concluding: “I am always available and I always give my all whether I play well or badly, while there are some players at Manchester United who do not appreciate the club and do not defend it adequately… and this makes me sad.”

It is noteworthy that Portuguese Bruno Fernandes scored 5 goals and provided 7 assists in the English Premier League this season.
