Two Germans will be at the World Cup in Samarkand (UZB) on Saturday. The races are held over the Olympic distance (1.5 kilometers swimming, 40 kilometers cycling, 10 kilometers running).
In the competition of women, Julia Bröcker would like to build on their good results in 2025. Her debut in the World Triathlon Championship Series (WTCS) in Abu Dhabi (VAE) ended the last year’s second of the U23 World Championships in Mixed Relay in 24th place. At the Indoor World Cup in the French Liévin, she finished eleven with the bronze medal at the Supertri e World Triathlon Surprise championships in London (GbR).
In the men’s race, Chris Ziehmer represents the German Triathlon Union (DTU). The Saarbrücker became 38th at the Indoor World Cup in Liévin in March, at the World Cup in Chengdu in Chinese two weeks ago.

Before the elite competitions, the races of the Para are already taking place (from 4 a.m.). In class PTS3, Valentin Hanzer is at the start, who finished ranks one and two in his two previous appearances in the Para World Cup.
