Organizers of Bonnaroo are responding to criticism regarding refund policies for the canceled 2025 installment, which was called off due to heavy rain last weekend. The festival, held in Manchester, Tennessee, has also put a hold on announcing future dates.

In a statement posted on social media, organizers said, “We want you to know that were still listening and actively discussing plans to improve The Farm that we love so much.At this time, we will not be announcing future dates.”

Initially, Bonnaroo offered to refund 75 percent of the ticket price to attendees after the four-day camping festival was cut short after only one day of music due to flooding. Many fans expressed their dissatisfaction online,with some starting a petition demanding full refunds.

While the pressure from fans appears to have had an impact, the festival’s future remains uncertain. The statement added, “When plans for the future take shape, you all be the first to know.”

Bonnaroo 2025 was set to feature Luke Combs, who performed on Thursday, along with headliners Tyler, the Creator, Olivia Rodrigo, and Hozier. combs’ set included appearances by Miranda Lambert, Jon Bellion, and Marcus King. Other performers on Thursday included Wisp, the Droptines, the Lemon Twigs, Die Spitz, Daniel Donato, and the Insane Clown Posse.

This marks the second time in four years that weather has forced the cancellation of Bonnaroo. The 2021 installment was canceled before it began due to unsafe conditions caused by flooding.

In a statement released on Friday, Bonnaroo organizers said, “Everyone who works on this show loves Bonnaroo deeply. Some of us have been here as the early years, some were fans first, and some are new but fell in love with it as soon as they felt your energy and spirit on The Farm. We look forward to this show all year. It’s what reenergizes us and restores our faith in community every single summer.”

The statement concluded, “Our main goal is to give you the most memorable weekend of your lives every year. This cancellation broke our hearts beyond measure, but we knew it had to happen for your safety. Thank you for your patience and perseverance through this tough situation.”
