The right leader was escorted by the police at the Star hospital in Brasiliaafter obtaining the authorization of the judge of the Supreme CourtAlexandre de Moraes.
According to the report, Bolsonaro must undergo care for some skin lesions. The clearance of the magistrate provides that the former head of state remains in the healthcare facility only the strictly necessary time, while his lawyers will have to present a medical certificate to the court within 48 hours.
The former president was welcomed by a group of supporters cloaked by the national flag, some with the Bible in hand, but preferred not to make statements.
Bolsonaro has been under house arrest since 4 August, for having violated some precautionary measures, and is located under the close police surveillance for fears of his attempt to escape.
In recent days, the Supreme Court sentenced the right -wing leader to a 27 -year -old penalty leader, because it was considered guilty of having guided an attempt at a coup, to prevent the installation of the progressive president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, after the 2022 elections.
