The event reached the maximum capacity of the virtual room with 500 participants connected simultaneously, which shows the high interest of medical personnel in strengthening their capabilities for the care of this disease.
The seminar was inaugurated by the PAHO/WHO Representative in Bolivia, Dr. Maria Dolores Pérez, together with Dr. Marcela Flores, Minister of Health and Sports, who highlighted the importance of strengthening technical cooperation and clinical capacities of the health system in the face of the increase in cases of chikungunya and other arboviruses in the Region.
