Forward Zachary Bolduc had a good start with the Canadian this season, but now he has not scored a single point in his last six games and TVA Sports match describer Félix Séguin has his explanation on this subject.

Bolduc is going through a down period after collecting three goals and an assist in his first three games. In his most recent eight outings, he was content with an assist.
In Séguin’s eyes, a decision by head coach Martin St-Louis may have proved decisive in this significant drop in production.
“I’m pretty sure of my move: [c’est] when we took him off the power play. He scored in Calgary on the first power play and it was a great goal. Then the next day in Edmonton, he doesn’t play on the power play. It’s more like Demidov. St. Louis has valid reasons; things are going well with Demidov and he said he was waiting for the right moment to put him on the first unit. The day before, Bolduc had scored and that shook him a little in my opinion. It played in his head,” he stressed on the show JiCWednesday.

«Martin is a good communicator. I am convinced that it was explained to him. Was this understood correctly? I don’t know, but for me, it’s a trigger.”
