Boeun-gun Livestock Funding: 2025 Applications Open

Boeun-gun, North Chungcheong Province, announced that it will accept applications for support projects in the livestock and quarantine fields for next year until the 19th to ‘foster the livestock industry that helps farms and the region survive together.’

This project is being promoted with the goals of increasing the income of livestock farms, improving breeding environments, preventing livestock diseases, and strengthening the quarantine system, and a budget of 2.9 billion won is expected to be invested in a total of 41 projects.

The support project includes various detailed projects encompassing the entire livestock industry, such as ▲support for intelligent mating timing detectors ▲installation of livestock climate change response facilities ▲support for livestock environment improvement and livestock waste disposal, ▲eco-friendly livestock certification ▲expansion of quarantine infrastructure to prevent livestock diseases ▲support for equipment and materials for beekeeping farms.

The county expects that this project will enable the livestock industry to develop sustainably in harmony with the local environment, promote stable farm management, and contribute to improving the quality of life for residents by creating a pleasant livestock farming environment.

Those eligible to apply are farms that have completed livestock farming licensing or registration. Farmers wishing to participate in the project must check the eligibility and requirements for support according to each business guideline and submit the application to the industrial team of the administrative welfare center in the town or township where the farm is located within the deadline.

Kim Eun-sook, head of the Livestock Division, said, “This support project is intended to alleviate the management burden of livestock farms and simultaneously promote livestock disease prevention and environmental improvement. We hope for the active participation of many farms so that the livestock industry can coexist with the local community and continue to grow.”

Meanwhile, Boeun-gun was finally selected as the target project site for the ‘2026 Livestock Waste Public Treatment Facility’ hosted by the Ministry of Environment, and a total project cost of 30.4 billion won (national budget 24.3 billion won, military budget 6 billion won) will be invested to install a state-of-the-art livestock waste treatment facility in Ochang-ri, Jangan-myeon.
