On Sunday afternoon, hunters are out in Kungsbacka outside Gothenburg in Sweden to try to find the animal.

The police have received several reports about the aggressive wild boar. It must have been bloody, and created chaos.

At least three people are said to have been attacked. A cyclist was injured and had to seek medical attention.

Lollo Samuelsson and her dogs were attacked when they were out for a walk. The police have received several reports about the same animal, reports Göteborgs-Posten.

Samuelsson describes the dramatic encounter with the large animal.

– I thought at first that this is not a pig – it is a pony, it was so big, she tells the newspaper.

She tells SVT that the wild boar came running straight towards her, and another woman.

– I shout at her to take care, she says.

Her dog ran away in the chaos, but was found later in the center of Kungsbacka, apparently unharmed.

The police have given hunters permission to kill the animal, but the search ended in the early afternoon.

– The pig turned and went north again towards the forest. It was bloody at the nostrils and probably ran into a fence, says hunter Osborn Stockelberg.

There was hunting in the area on Sunday, but according to the hunter, the boar was not shot during the hunt.

The animal had probably been injured in another way before it attacked.
