Suborbital Flight Sends International Crew Soaring to Space Edge
A diverse crew of six individuals recently experienced the thrill of suborbital spaceflight, briefly escaping Earth’s gravity before returning safely.
Six space tourists, comprising four men and two women from across the globe, journeyed to the edge of space on Saturday, relishing a few minutes of weightlessness and stunning views before descending back to Earth. This marked the twelfth passenger flight of the New Shepard program.
Following the flight, Panamanian attorney Jaime Alemán, a former ambassador to the United States, described the experience as profoundly moving. “It was such an unbelievable ride, very moving, very spiritual,” Alemán said.”Even better than I ever imagined. I’ve been traveling, thanks to the gods, all my life, this was like the cherry on top of a cake. I mean, to go up in space and see how huge it is, you can only begin to imagine how much more there is still to discover.”
