In December last year, Mr. A signed a 70th ticket in the neighborhood Pilates, but was hit in two weeks.

The recovery of the damage is ‘picking stars’ and 80%remain unresolved.
Even more seriously, it is very difficult to get relief even if it is damaged. Looking at the results of 287 cases related to the closure of business, 227 cases remained due to the lack of contact of the operator, accounting for 80%.
Most victims are in helplessness without any compensation as the company is hidden.
In April 2023, a large Pilates chain store with 25 branches nationwide suddenly informed the temporary suspension and entered an indefinite suspicion, and many members complained of damage.
At a department store branch in Yuseong -gu, Daejeon, there was a scene where victims gathered to write a list.
“I paid for a year to manage my body in preparation for marriage, but now I don’t know what to do.” A member ahead of marriage had tears.
In order to prevent damage
In order to prevent such damage, the Korea Consumer Resources Agency has been deceived by events such as price discounts and has been involved in paying cash or a long -term contract.
Instead, when paying more than 200,000 won, it was recommended to pay more than three months with a credit card as much as possible to exercise installment rights to the card company.
Installation argument is the right of consumers to refuse to remain in the card company if the company pays more than 200,000 won for more than three months and then does not accept the business of the business owner or the legitimate termination.
When damage occurs, it is necessary to secure data that can prove the number of remaining or termination of the contract, and quickly exercise the installment defense on the card company.
An official of the industry advised, “The rapidly increasing companies since Corona 19 are struggling with intensifying competition and recession.” Consumers should carefully check the operating period and reputation of the company and carefully check the refund regulations before the contract.
Experts emphasized, “It is safe for consumers to take a closer look at the financial status and operating period of the company rather than impulsive contracts, and start with a short -term contract with a small amount if possible.”
He also added, “We must actively report to the Consumer Resources and Fair Trade Commissions to reduce similar cases of damages.”
