Blood Collection Date Change | New Schedule

Monday, May 26 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., in the Joséphine-Baker space, the Aucamville-Fonbeauzard blood donor association will organize a new blood collection. More than ever, which is more in this period of many bridges this month of May, the French Blood Establishment (EFS) alerts on extremely strong needs. During this spring month when many take advantage of leave and leave their homes, by logic, donations decrease. During this period we see the lower blood reserves while activity and needs in health establishments (accidents, operations, illness, manufacturing of drugs, research, etc.) they do not stop. Also, it is very important that citizens understand that blood donation is irreplaceable, but within everyone’s reach. To date, no medication or synthesis product is able to be substituted for blood products from donations. Blood donation is a gesture that takes a few minutes and saves three people. This is the reason why, all people of age to give blood, aged 18 to 70 years old, are invited to give in particular during this period, but not only … Indeed, there are several forms of donations and all very important: blood, plasma, plates, etc. Each year, a million people are neat thanks to donations made in sampling centers or in mobile collections. Note that it is possible but not compulsory to book a time slot on Mondondusang.efs.sante.fr. As usual, the gift will continue with a moment of conviviality prepared by volunteers.
