Cause allergic reaction
When Bloem finally puts on make-up again, things go wrong again. “The complaints immediately returned, even though none of the products contained the substance I was allergic to. Later, when the complaints had disappeared again, I decided to use my shampoo again. It did not cause any complaints. I really didn’t understand it.”
To this day, Bloem remains unclear what exactly caused the allergic reaction. “I do know that I have extremely sensitive skin. I also believe that make-up and skincare can also contain a lot of ‘junk’. I think this has caused my skin to react this way in the long term.”
“That’s why I hardly use facial make-up or skincare products anymore. I have one hypoallergenic concealer, but I prefer to stick with that. I think that’s a shame, because I would of course have liked to be able to just use these kinds of products. But anyway, nice.” clean works best for me.”
