Blind Married: Couples’ Wedding Panic Revealed

by Archynetys Entertainment Desk

Ziggy (31) and Sien (29) are now officially married. The couple carefully say yes to each other and then leave for their photo shoot. In the car, Ziggy and Sien get to know each other a little better. “Arguing with me is no fun. I have a strong character,” Sien tells her new husband. And she also keeps him at a distance during the shoot. “You can look deep into each other’s eyes,” the photographer calls out. But that turns out to be more difficult than expected. “You hardly know each other yet. There is no bond yet,” says Sien. “But that will be fine.”

Fortunately, things are a lot more passionate for Kim (33) and Paulien (29). “What a beautiful woman,” both ladies say about their new wife. The two have difficulty keeping their hands apart. “We have to pace ourselves (laughs).” During a photo shoot in ‘her’ beautiful city of Ghent, Paulien shows off her wife Kim. “All the stress falls away from me.”

Panic

For Ellen (31) and Leander (33) it is still a bit stressful until the ceremony. Both can meet each other for the first time, just like the other Blind Married couples, during the blindfold moment. “I heard his accent and I immediately thought: ‘That’s past the Kennedy tunnel,’” Ellen from Kempen sounds anxiously. “I am a little bit traumatized by my previous relationship. We loved each other, but the distance has played tricks on us.” And the experts also admit that they made a daring choice by linking the Kempen Ellen and the East Flemish Leander. “We push them with this match, because Ellen explicitly indicated that she did not want to cross the Kennedy tunnel,” says relationship expert Nina Callens (39).

However, Ellen cannot get rid of Leander’s accent and calls in Nina’s help before the wedding. “I’m totally panicking,” she admits. “Can this work out?” Nina calms her down and says: “You have to give him a chance. You open yourself up to this adventure, then you have to take everything step by step. Live in the now and tackle the problem of distance if it arises.”

Ellen regains her composure and tries to put her worries aside. The expert team also has high hopes for it. “For these two, appearance was very important. We are very good at their match,” he said. “Leander had a specific type: blonde, tall and slim. Ellen fits that perfectly.” Leander’s own family at the wedding also confirms the latter. “We know his type and this picture is completely correct.”

New match

With three of the four weddings completed, almost all of this season’s participants are now married. Although the last couple already knows that their fiancĂ© is ready. “You’re getting married,” Frances MaĂŻtĂ© (27) and Ian (29) say separately. “Have they found someone for me? How is that possible?” MaĂŻtĂ© exclaims enthusiastically.

Whether Maïté and Ian are actually made for each other will only become clear later. However, looking ahead to Monday teaches us that it is not love at first sight. “Ian is not exactly the man I would approach in everyday life,” he said. Does Ian think the same way?
