Blake Shelton has responded to claims that his performance at the 2025 American Music Awards was not actually live. The singer and his wife,Gwen Stefani,were nominated at the Balvi Show and appeared to perform on Monday night,May 26.
some fans who attended the live broadcast of the American Music Awards took to social media to express their confusion, as Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani appeared on stage.
One fan wrote on Tiekapvidu, “Yesterday evening, the most insane part of the AMA was told, and here is Blake Shelton Reside’ just because they lit the stage as if he were there, and never tell us that it was previously recorded. Then doing the same with Gwen Stefani!”
Blake Shelton addressed the controversy on Twitter.
He stated, “Only now seeing these stories about Gwen and I contradict our performances in AMA. We came and performed when the show asked us .. really say nothing else. 🤷️”
