Teuvo Teravainen practiced with the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday and could return to action against the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday (8 p.m. ET; FDSNWIX, FDSNNO, CHSN).
“That’s what I expect, but until tomorrow, I can’t confirm anything,” coach Jeff Blashill said. “But everything indicates that he should play tomorrow. »
The forward, who will represent Finland at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, has missed the last six games with an upper body injury. He alternated with Nick Lardis on the right wing of Chicago’s first line, while Frank Nazar played on the left wing and Connor Bedard at center.
Lardis was later demoted to the American Hockey League.
Teravainen scored 21 points (nine goals, 12 assists) in 45 games.
