Having traveled extensively for over a decade, I’ve come across places that resonate deeply, creating lasting memories. From scenic drives along CaliforniaS coast to forging meaningful connections in the Caribbean,these destinations have welcomed me warmly and deserve a spot on every Black traveler’s itinerary.

1. Monterey County,California

Imagine driving down the Pacific Coast Highway,windows down,with Afrobeats playing. It’s about the freedom to express yourself, enjoying a dream trip in your ideal car. Monterey County embodies this road trip fantasy, offering everything from the quaint seaside town of Carmel-by-the-Sea to the rugged beauty of Big Sur.
